Blow-up sex dolls, a seductive Nun, a fake beheading and monk that turns
out to be a promiscuous Duke. Measure for Measure is certainly
a ‘problem play’. You can’t help laughing when the curtain falls down, but only
because the ending is clearly not the normal happy-ever-after.
Amazingly, and for the first time since I dived into the word of an English undergraduate, I am running low on unread books. This is brilliant news as it gives
me an excuse to expand my ever-growing library and head out to the nearest
bookshop. But it did mean that in collating my holiday reading list, I had to
delve into my mum’s bookshelf.
So I’m a bit late with this one due to technical reasons. My laptop has decided that it has had enough of me after three years, so my blog post have been a tad delayed. 18 days later than planned, here are the books I will be reading/have been reading this month.
